Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what data Presit collects, how we use it, and your choices. If something isn't clear, email contact@presit.app.

Data we collect

  • Account data — the email, name, and profile details you give us at sign up (via Clerk), plus the storefront content you add (bio, handle, portfolio photos).
  • Client data — when a client messages you through your storefront, we store their first name, email, the message thread, and any images they upload, linked to a per-client magic-link token.
  • Order data — design briefs, measurements, shipping info, payment status, and private notes you write about an order.
  • Usage data — basic event logs and error traces we need to run the Service (timestamps, IP on intake submissions for abuse prevention).
  • Payment data — when you enable payments, card and bank information is handled by Stripe directly. Presit only sees the minimum required to reconcile payouts.

How we use it

To run the Service, keep your data secure, notify you and your clients about messages and order changes, process payments, detect abuse, and comply with law. We do not sell your data.

Sign in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, our authentication provider (Clerk) requests the standard openid, email, and profile scopes from your Google Account. Specifically:
  • Email address — used as the unique identifier for your Presit account, and to send you transactional product emails (welcome, trial reminders, client message notifications). Never shared with third parties.
  • Name (first and last) — used to pre-fill your display name in the onboarding flow so you don't have to type it again. You can edit it any time.
  • Profile picture URL — displayed as your avatar in the dashboard chrome (top-right user menu) inside your own account. Not shown publicly. You can override it with a custom shop logo at any time.
We do not request and never receive any other data from your Google Account (no Drive, Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google API data). We do not use Google user data to train AI or machine-learning models, and we do not transfer it to any party outside of our authentication and email-delivery subprocessors listed below. Google user data is retained for as long as your Presit account is active and is deleted on account deletion (see “How long we keep it” below). You can revoke Presit's access to your Google Account at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions; doing so will sign you out of Presit but will not delete your shop — to delete your account, email contact@presit.app.

Subprocessors

We use the following vendors to operate Presit. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement and reasonable security standards.
  • Clerk — authentication (account email, passwords, sessions).
  • Convex — database and real-time sync.
  • Vercel — hosting and CDN for the web app.
  • Stripe — payments (subscriptions and, when enabled, client payments via Stripe Connect).
  • Loops — transactional product emails.
  • OpenAI — optional AI features.
  • Roboflow — nail measurement from photos.
  • Affonso — affiliate-program tracking (sets a referral cookie when a visitor arrives via an affiliate link, so we can credit the affiliate when a paid subscription begins).

Where your data lives

Data is stored on servers located in the United States. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on the applicable standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms for cross-border transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to meet legal and accounting obligations (typically 7 years for payment records). Uploaded images that you delete are removed from storage on a best-effort basis.

Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To delete your account or exercise any rights you have under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws (including residents of the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and California), email contact@presit.app.

Children

Presit is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Cookies

We use a small set of strictly-necessary cookies (authentication, session continuity) and, optionally, privacy-friendly analytics. If you arrive through an affiliate link, our affiliate partner (Affonso) sets a referral cookie for up to 30 days so we can credit the affiliate if you start a paid subscription. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced at least 15 days before they take effect, by email or inside the Service.
